Here is more information about each access level:

 

Patron. A Patron is automatically a Spring Member (see below). You can be a Patron for just $20 per month or $200 per year. >> How do I pay? Member. You can be a Spring Member for $10 per month or $100 per year. >> How do I pay? Guest. Everybody starts out as a Guest here. Being a Guest is free. We hope that if you are a Guest and a frequent user of The Spring, you will want to become a Member or Patron and support our System. >> Welcome!

All user-access levels can use our popular conferencing system, and local and Internet e-mail. (Member and patron accounts are for the use of the individual account holder only and may not be shared or loaned to anyone else.)

We provide a free hard-copy of our 81-page manual to anyone who pays $30 or more for Spring Member access or Patron access.

"Spring" is the name of The Spring's parent corporation. All Spring Members and Patrons are automatically Spring Members. However, if you do not wish the extra access of a Spring Member or Patron, you may become a Spring Member by paying $20 per calendar year. A Spring Member receives a 10% discount for anything s/he buys from us in that year, including Spring Member access or Patron access, or (for example) a tee shirt. All Spring Members, can vote or run for The Spring Board of Directors if they maintain that status for at least a month.

We love donations! They include donations to our auctions, donations of things which we sell at Homeless Community Center sales, phone line sponsorships, and donations of money. For further information about donations, mail "treasure".
