Topic 19 of 100: music on the web

Sat, Feb 1, 1997 (15:51) | Paul Terry Walhus (terry)
I got this second hadn (from jonl):

This popped up on austin.announce. Greg was one of the
organizers of Nerdstock, last February's great but way
underattended event.

Greetings All,

We would like to invite you over to check out our
latest site rebuild. It now contains the largest
RealAudio Jukebox of Texas Music in the world and
will be growing almost daily. We have found
a great deal of rare Texas content and are excited
about sharing it with the world. The site also
contains a great deal of content targeted at the
professional musician. Come visit us at:

http://www.txmusic.com

Secure transactions in our MusicMall should be online
in a few weeks. Enjoy.

-Greg Forest

only from B97 which is now on the web. This from John Burnett:

I am now "live" (pre-recorded voice tracks) daily on intenet 6 am to 10 am Hawaii time M-F, 6-noon Sat. Hawaii time). Station is KNWB Hilo, a rock/AC hybrid format called "Classic Hits."

That translates to: 11 am to 3 pm M-F, 11 am - 5 pm Sat. Central Daylight Time

and 9 am to 1 pm M-F, 9 am to 3 PM Sat., Pacific Daylight time

http://www.webradio.com

on top of page at "launch" type in KNWB and hit "go" button.

Our Hawaiian station, KWXX, which I'm on completely live on weekends, is webradio's 8th most popular station nationally.

Aloha,
John Burnett

How's webradio doing these days.

I logged in as terry today instead of sprin5, so I'm doing a lot of catching up on a lot of topics.
