If I were ever to get married, I would have a song ready for the occasion: "In My Life" from the Rubber Soul album by the Beatles. (Ironically, the maniacally jealous and abusive song "Run For Your Life" is on the same album...).
What other possibilities would you think of? If you are/were married, what did you have for your wedding?

My list:
"Nights In White Satin" is a bit syrupy for a wedding song...
Likewise, "Foxey Lady" might be a tad inappropriate...
If there's such a thing as a "groom's song" (song from groom to bride), then "Woman" by John Lennon would work.
"Hard Headed Woman" would work for that too, if one can get past the title...
Here's one! "You're My Best Friend" by Queen (written by John Deacon)
What else:
"Just The Way You Are" - Billy Joel
"Your Song" - Elton John
"For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her" - Simon & Garfunkel
"Bridge Over Troubled Water" - Simon & Garfunkel
can't think of any others right now...

It's done by Tracy Byrd. It's a country song. the words are beautiful. I love it. I guess it it's the romantic side of me.

here you go:
The Keeper of the Satrs
It was no accident me finding you
Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew
Now I just can't believe you're in my life
Heaven's smilin' down on me
As I look at you tonight
I tip my hat to the keeper of the stars
He sure knew what he was doin'
When he joined these two hearts
I hold everything
When I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars
Soft moonlight on your face oh how you shine
It takes my breath away
Just to look into your eyes
I know I don't deserve a treasure like you
There really are no words
To show my gratitude
So I tip my hat to the keeper of the stars
He sure knew what he was doin'
When he joined these two hearts
I hold everything
When I hold you in my arms
I've got all I'll ever need
Thanks to the keeper of the stars
It was no accident me finding you
Someone had a hand in it
Long before we ever knew

In My Life (J. Lennon/P. McCartney)
from the album Rubber Soul by The Beatles
There are places I remember
All my life, though some have changed;
Some forever, not for better,
Some have gone, though some remain.
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall,
Some are dead and some are living;
In my life I loved them all.
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no-one compared with you,
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new;
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before,
I know I'll often stop and think about them;
In my life I love you more.
